Idea came to me late at night, out of my many many ideas i've had for 3d models and wallpapers, etc, this one I think has come out the closest to the original concept in my head, and is therefore my best so far.

Since this appears to be the eye of an android, cyborg or undead being I suggest in future renditions you add more human and machine fusion. I notice the lower eyelid appears to be metallic or inorganic. Try " blending " skin with circuits ( or frankenstein/vacuum tubes if the technopast is your thing ). Other then that this is superbly done.

that would be a good idea, and i was thinking about it, but I decided I wanted to keep it clean.
its more like a glimpse into the near future where mechanical organs can replace body parts
(i guess you can say this was partly inspired by GITS)
